Who Are We
This is a growing writers collaboration platform to document real Cuba stories and help amplify #soscuba voices to #freecuba and to preserve our true Cuban history so it's not lost to a false censored narrative created by 62 years of propaganda, lies and censorship.
The plan is to capture as many Cuba stories as possible through all literary and/or storytelling means. There is no limit to the number of published stories and/or contributing Authors assignments that can be made on the platform (blogger).
Cubans With Wings is a partner initiative of Cubans United For Freedom and welcomes collaborations with all #SOSCUBA voice amplifiers.
Why we do this
On July 11, 2021 the unarmed Cubans people took to the streets in protest for freedom from communism. Over 800 Cuban citizens (minors included) were violently beat and imprisoned as a result. Cuban exiles all around the world have responded to their cries for freedom by uniting to amplify their voices.
In the wake of that unprecedented day, It became clear that the world doesn't know the story of the Cuban people and their history. Subsequently Cubans also don't know their true Cuban history as a result of 62 years of communism and total censorship. This platform was created in response to their #soscuba cries! Patria y Vida.

Ways to Contribute
There are three ways to contribute to this blog.
1. Submit Your Story Online using our our online form. We would love to add you to our growing list of contributing authors.
2. Send us an email at cubanswithwings@gmail.com with your story. If you would like to actively publish multiple stories on our site, you may send us an email request to become a contributing Author. Once you accept our Blogger invitation, you can create and publish on your own time - you control your narrative.
3. Recommend authors to our site: We gratefully welcome and accet any and all recommendations for writers and stories whose themes align with the overall #SOSCUBA goal to free Cuba. We thank you in advance for your leads.
